Winter is here...AND we were not READY!!!

Well bring on the snow ready or not! And for us it was NOT!!!
The fifth-wheel is usually all nice and cozy in the shop by now ....with all 4 slides slid IN but not this year.
There is a good explanation for our unpreparedness and it is a really good one. I HATE TO SHOVEL SNOW!!!! Well and Lane was gone for two and half weeks when all the storms hit. I did the best I could to keep with the snow but I should have had lessons with the snow blower, the blade on the 4 wheeler or heaven for bid the back hoe but no I did it by hand. Thus the reason for getting really behind. But my hottie husband came home and saved the day and dug us out! We, and he survived. I have to say I did help!

This tooth.....UUGGGG!!! We waited 6 months for it to come down into place and as you can see it HAS NOT happened! So.......
To the periodontist we go! Savannah's first experience on nitrous. Funny!
Serious 10 min. later there is the tooth. Savannah did great and the tooth is down and in place and looking BEAUTIFUL!!!

Catching UP...KindA!!!!

Ok so I never loved the color of our house when I moved here and married Lane and I knew that some day he would trust me to change it to what ever color I wanted....well.....( Hard to see in the picture but it was a blue/gray color.)
I LOVE how the staining turned out and the guys that did it did a great job!!! Lane was out of town when I picked the color and while it was being done so I gave him a hard time telling him it was green!!! Well it is but it is more of a olive brownish. He came home they day they finish the staining and YES he liked it also. He never can in vision the colors like I can but just agrees and shakes his head. I can't wait to see what he thinks of my BLACK kitchen cupboards!!!!

BUSY SuMMeR!!!

We have all had a busy summer and it is only half over!!!! Savannah and her friend LOVE to go explore outside. They were going to go on a 4 wheeler ride when inside they seat they found a few of these. YUCK!!! I could not believe that the caught one of the mice!!! Savannah found a cage and the kept it for about an hour then let it go!

These two are so funny together!!!
Savannah went to the Paul McCartney concert in Salt Lake with her Dad. She had a great time and told me over and over that going was" a once in a life time experience"! I am glad she got to go .
You will start to see a trend here of Savannah liking to hold, catch and play with "icky" things she is such a tom-boy! My Mom and sisters make comments as to her being just like me at that age but I think she is WWAAAYYYY more of a tom-boy than I ever was!!!!

Savannah has been LUCKY enough to go to 3 yes 3 basketball camps, yes I know she is spoiled but she has done so well at all of them. Has won lots of the single and team competitions and has come home with fun camp t-shirts and prizes. She said that BYU was her favorite!!!

Yes yet another gross thing Savannah enjoys playing with!!! What am I going to do with this CHILD of mine? LOVE HER TO PIECES!!!! She has been gone a lot this summer and I have MISSED her SO SO SO much!!! LOVE HER GUTS!!!

Fun at the Bear Lake...even though we never went!

We took off for the Memorial Day weekend and went to Bear Lake with the 5th wheel! Every year Lane gets soooo busy with work that we never use the 5th wheel for fun so come rain of sun shine I was determined that we were going camping...well OUR style of camping!
We stay at the KOA camp ground, it is a great one with lots of fun activities. As you can see we LOVE to rent all the different kinds of bikes. We rode these into town and had a great time! Savannah and I both want one now but I can't see to find them.
This is one of Lanes and Savannahs favorites "YUCK". Play dough ice cream!
Hannah and Savannah got these mouth pieces that they put in there mouth and they light up. They had a great time walking around the camp ground at night, they got lots of funny comments on there glowing teeth with braces!
We never made it to the lake it was a bit chilly and rainy but the girl still had a great time coloring and making things!
This is what Lane likes to do when he has time off! He had just got home from working in North Dakota for 2 weeks working 17 hour shifts 7 days a week, so we let him get away with this and appreciate all his hard work! He is still smoken hot even asleep! LOVE HIM!!!

Hmmm....do you think she likes Basketball?

No she LOVESSSSS Basketball!!! Savannah went on the computer and downloaded all the NBA team logos than colored them to look just like the colored version. Now they will be hung up in her room. Oh MY! I guess I should be glad she is doing something kinda of constructive! I LOVE HER!!! Although a little side note, I did talk her into doing volleyball which she is involved it now, but she really doesn't like to admit she does like it. Yeah!! Love my girl!!!

AHHHH... I want to go back!!!

We went to a new resort this year! We LOVED IT!!!
This is one of the pools that looked like you could just step right out of the pool into the ocean!
Lane gets so dark when we go to Mexico he always gets several comments like: "How long have you guys been down here. "What kind of sunscreen do you use." One guy that sat by us at the pool kept looking at him and saying "Dude you are so DARK." Than he asked him if he wanted to go for a run on the beach. I got a little concerned. WEIRDO!!!
The resort had grills outside by the pool that you could get hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken for lunch. This was Lanes favorite place to eat, yes the grill even though there were "7" very nice gourmet restaurants to choose from. But one this day they had a small boat come in right to our resort and deliver the swordfish that they grilled for everyone. Very cool!

We had so much fun just relaxing and enjoying being with one another and meeting lots of new friends from all over the world. It was a GREAT TRIP!!!

Cancun, MEXICO here we come!!!

I decided to post this because we leave Saturday for a week in CANCUN!!!! I am more excited than the past years I think because it is a FREAKING BLIZZARD outside my house RIGHT NOW!!!

Summer Basketball CAMPS!!!

Should Savannah got to BYU's women's basketball camp?
OR....University of Utah's Women's basketball camp?
OR.... Weber State University's women's basketball camp?


Ok so I have spent more time than I can say I would like researching basketball camps for Savannah to go to this summer. I couldn't decide they all looked fun and had a lot to offer, sooooooo I decided that she is going to WORK her little behind off doing what ever Lane and I want her to do and send her to all 3!!! I know it is a little much but she really wants to do all 3 and I think it will be a great experience for her. So hopefully she will come through on her end and earn some of the green stuff!!!

Backetball in Soda Springs!!!

Savannah feeling a little bruised... She has bruising on top of bruising after this week of playing basketball. Time to start icing wounds before next weekends tournament!
We went to Soda Springs for the weekend for basketball tournament, I wasn't real sure about hotel situations so I went on-line and found a fun 2 bedroom cabin. We brought along with us 2 of Savannah's teammates and Lanes Mom. It was perfect for all of us and as you can see the girls had FUN being SILLY!!!

Sooo I have to say I took this picture because I was laughing out LOUD when I took it. Savannah plays center on her team and up to NOW she has jumped and has gotten every single jump ball. Like I said UP TO NOW!!! Really this girl was pushing 6 feet and was in 6th grade. REALLY??? What do they feed these girls in Preston Idaho?? Potatoes maybe???

Cute girls!!!! We had such a GREAT weekend, we all came home pretty worn out but can't wait for the next one and the next one and the next one!!! It is fun to be a players Mom, A LOT of stress but very fun! I am pretty sure I am hard to sit by, as I had to get up and move few times I need to be a more patient and less competitive and have a little thinker skin when it come to Savannah and basketball....I am working on it.

Winter on Wyoming!!!

I thought I would get a little caught up on winter in Wyoming! This would be Savannah's first snow...man??? of the season. I think she had more fun painting it than building it! Strange...

The ICE is here and so the ice fishing begins.
I am STILL am not sure why he enjoys this hobie so much!? I know, maybe it could be the comfortable seating choice he gets to enjoy while doing what he loves to do so much! Ya think?
Savannah is in full swing with Basketball. Went to hoop shoot in Jackson and too second and her traveling team practices twice a week and tournaments start this weekend!! Yeah! Pictures to come! Can not wait!!

Happy Happy Happy "Jazz" Birthday!!!

Ok so finding someone in the Valley to make a "Jazz " cake was not easy but we got it done and I think it turned out pretty cute! I asked Savannah what was her favorite present or thing she got for her birthday? She said "My cake and the signed Jazz jersey that Casey had Kyle Korver and Ronny price sign." LUCKY GIRL!
It is a little hard for me to believe that I have and 11 year old TOM BOY, JAZZ FAN daughter! I know everybody says this but it really seems like not that long ago she was just little! But I have to say I enjoy her and have more fun with her each stage of her life!

These next few pictures and the fruits of her Christmas and Birthday gifts! New "Jazz" room is FINISHED!!! NOT buying any more Jazz stuff, I'm pretty sure we have it all now!
I am really hoping that she likes the "Jazz" and wants this to be her room "Decor" until she moves and goes to COLLAGE!
