HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!
Our kinda "weird "Thanksgiving. Don't get me wrong, it was GREAT! But a little strange not having my Mom and Dad there. It just didn't feel the same. I missed them.
Jess and Heather did all the pies "7" of them and they all tasted so nummy!!! We had all the kids get in line. We had to constantly say "get back, get back" It was like doing crowd control at a major event!!!
The PIE or should I say PIES were worth it!!! Everyone has at least 2 to 3 pieces!!! ( I'll be hitting the treadmill as soon as I'm done with this post)
Sammy and Carli decided to see who could eat the most mashed potatoes!!! I'm not sure who won but I know i heard them both say later on in the day that they felt sick!
I do so love the pies, but Jess's rolls are AMAZING!!!! They can't be beat!!! On Sunday she has her kids take the leftover rolls to the neighbors. I know that each one of her neighbors hopes it is there turn to get rolls each Sunday!

LOVING BasketBALL!!!!
Basket Ball started the beginning of November. There cute team will play tell the end of November. She is #31.
Watching Savannah play sports is defiantly one of my FAVORITE things to do! She has improved so much since last year! She scored 10 out of the 18 points in her first game.
Sports here in the valley is a MAJOR thing. There is so much support from the whole community. Savannah has such great opportunities growing up here. I don't think it would be the same in a big city. I think she'd get lost in the sea of all the other great players. She had at least 10 people ( sorry to brag a little) come up after the game and tell her what a great job she had done! Makes a mom VERY PROUD!!!

Since I moved here, well I take that back, since I first saw these WINDOW TREATMENTS, I wanted to take them down and turn them into a picnic tablecloth. For REAL! But for some reason I think Lane was attached to them. He would never let me take them down, well until I found a replacement! YEAH!!! Got to LOVE Pottery Barn!!! Finally found just what I wanted. I was going to try and make something and realized if I did that, the blue picnic tablecloth would still be hanging in my windows. I should have saved them so Savannah could have used them for slip-in-slide in the summer,

STOP SNOWING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The past few days as it has been snowing on and off I find myself saying in my head
" STOP SNOWING!"
For some reason the universe was not listening!!! So today i said it out LOUD!!!!
" STOP SNOWING NOW!!! I REALLY MEAN IT!"
I don't think it is going to work. Sometimes I really think that if I believe enough it will happen. But in me trying to control the weather. NOT SO MUCH!!! Oh well I think it is here. Winter! I really love winter but I just don't think I was quit ready YET! But it's here and I'm going to LOVE every second of it. Well not driving in it. That is fair, especially here. Last year was my first winter and first year having the joyful experience of driving in " the Wonderful Wyoming Winter " HOLY MOLY!!! I thought no big, I've lived in Utah my whole life, I've got it made. Little did I know, I called Lane as I drove to work that first real storm morning and told him, while in tears, " I'm turning around I'm so scared!!!!" He told me that was the worst thing I could do. I kept going and made it to work. All the great people I work with, who have lived and experienced my nightmare, were waiting for me to walk in the door. They could tell I had just been through HELL!!! They all encouraged me and said the first time is the hardest, you've got it made now! They were right. It's not so bad now. I still have to take a deep breath every once and a while and say " YOU CAN DO THIS!!!"
" STOP SNOWING!"
" STOP SNOWING NOW!!! I REALLY MEAN IT!"

TAG!!! TAG!!! TAG!!! You ALL are so IT!!!!
5 Favorite Family Memories!!!
(for those who don't know about tags if you are reading this you HAVE to do this same tag on your blog.)
This TAG is for ALL who are reading my blog!
5 Favorite Family Memories:
1. My sister Heather and I sharing a room. (good and bad cause we did split the room in half a couple time)
2. Picking apricots off the tree in the back yard and instead of putting them in the bucket like we were supposed to we used each other (bothers and sisters) for TARGET practice.
3. Going outside to do our hour of weeding (summer job) and hiding around the house some where with the trivial pursuit cards asking each other question.(screwing around) Than when we had to show mom our bucket of weeds we'd have week old weeds on bottom and a few fresh ones on top.
4. All the great Holidays with Grammy and Grandpa Thompson at our house.
5. The times in Richfield jumping on the hotel beds, swimming in the hotel pool. Hanging out with Uncle Joe's family.
I could think of so many others! It is so important to make memories!!! FUN to!!!

Hay HAULERS DONE!!!! YEAH!!!!
WOW!!! That is a tight corner!!! Theres gotta be a blind spot there!
In the middle of NO WHERE!

These two Handsome guys are very very Happy these days! As of October 30 they finished there contract with the "Game and Fish"!(yes they do say it backwards up here, go figure) They finished with one day to spare. Lane has never not finished on time but he stresses himself out from about July tell Oct 31 thinking this may be the year. I always tell him to mellow out just a little when I'm tempting him to go to Utah for some fun. Sometimes is works sometimes not.
This is how happy he is he is DONE!!! Just kidding it's really his Birthday! :) But I have to say this is probably my most favorite picture of him! He is so stinken CUTE! My brothers and sisters kinda of tease him since he has grown out goatee a little, because it is a..a...a.. changing color a little and he has such a great smile and twinkly eyes. They say he looks like the narrator on "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" Ya know the snowman that glides around. Burl Ives. Cute! He hates it and is going to hate it more that I put it in my blog! Sorry babe!
One of many of the hay sheds they fill to feed the Elk all winter. Sorry picture is a little blurry. He is driving and taking picture at the same time!
This is where they go every day! THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE!!!!!!!!! The roads are really not "real" roads. They are dirt, kinda roads.
He called me when they finished and I could tell just by his voice how HAPPY he was to be done. I'm just as happy that he is done. I get my husband back. I realize how spoiled I am in the winter having him around more. I'm glad he won't have to get up at 3:30AM any more and want to go to bed at 7:00PM. I always felt so bad for him. But most of all I'm so thankful for him and for his AMAZING work ethic. I've never seen anything like it. It allows me to be home with Savannah more, I never realized what I was missing out on. He is the GREATEST and I'm SO PROUD to be his wife!

I asked Lane just how much hay did you haul. He laughed and said "A LOT"! I said for real how much? He thought for a min and said "3200 TON! I thought about that for a minute and thought that really doesn't mean a whole lot to me cause I really have no clue what a ton of hay is. SO I said how many Semi-Truck Loads is that? He replied 140 Semi-Trucks! I thought that is A LOT!
