Last winter in the record snowfall, our deck was caved in by falling snow. It was time for a new deck! It was a whole spring, summer and fall project.
Lanes friend that built the deck could only work weekend and nights. So it was slow going but we were just so happy to have a new deck.
It may have been a little slow moving cause it was one of those TRADE deals. We all know how they go. But you have to love them. Good and Bad! Lane traded and sacrificed a snow machine. For all of you that know Lane don't be to shocked or worried. He has 2 more.
Yeah finished!!! We love to spend time out here.
I LOVE having the fire pit!!! Fun to just do hot dog dinners or samores'!!!
This is probably one of my most favorite places to read, talk on the phone or just hang out! Savannah almost every day would go out after school and do homework and reading!!! I am so glad the deck got finished just wish we would have had a little more summer time to enjoy. It's going to be a bugger to shovel!After

Since I moved here, well I take that back, since I first saw these WINDOW TREATMENTS, I wanted to take them down and turn them into a picnic tablecloth. For REAL! But for some reason I think Lane was attached to them. He would never let me take them down, well until I found a replacement! YEAH!!! Got to LOVE Pottery Barn!!! Finally found just what I wanted. I was going to try and make something and realized if I did that, the blue picnic tablecloth would still be hanging in my windows. I should have saved them so Savannah could have used them for slip-in-slide in the summer,

I love your new deck! You are great at decorating. Everything you touch turns out so cute! I don't have that gift.
I am getting so homesick with the holidays coming! I am excited to start making my chocolates though. I'll be sending them with my friend in the middle of December.
Chad wants to go to a restraunt for Thanksgiving! Can you believe that!? Are you going up to Jess's for Thanksgiving? Love ya!
