"COME and GONE"

You all didn't know that the big "S" really stands for SAMPSON did you! It does cause my Dad is one of my hero's!!! He really does remind me of Superman! How tall and strong he is, how safe I feel with him and knowing he will always be "One of the GOOD GUYS"!

My Dad has come and gone and I missed him by a 3 DAYS!!!

For some reason, even it being Christmas Eve and all, it is all I can think about. So I thought if I just put it out there I'd feel better. I do and I will. LOVE YA DAD!!!

YEAH!!! MOM and DAD are CoMMiNG HOME!!!!

"FAMILY"

I am so EXCITED to see Mom and Dad! They both have been gone for so long! I have never been without them close by in my life. Some of my other brothers and sisters have when they were on their missions. But as I was thinking and anticipating us all being back together I thought back, and realized I use to see them at least every other day if not every day when I lived in Utah. Even when I moved to Wyoming I would at always talk to them 3 or 4 times a week.

I also thought, even though we have all MISSED them a ton we all have learned a lot from the business that Dad has been doing over seas. I thought of MANY, but the main and most important one is " Because of the way my parents raised us with LOVE for each other and them, WE, all 8 of their children can ALWAYS count on EACH OTHER!!!! We have had to come together a lot lately, and be there for each other. I have been amazed at how good it feels being on both ends of GIVING and RECEIVING!!!!

I just had to let you all know that with all the Christmas movies that are out there, new and old, this ONE ELF is still my all time FAVORITE!!!!! There are so many FUNNY parts. Even when I watch it now, for the 101th time I LOVE it and find new one liners i didn't see the 99th time!!!

Wow I really have to think about this.

1. Spend time with my Mom and Dad.( all my family but, a lot of time with my Mom and Dad)

2. I wish that the gifts that I have chosen for friends and family are exactly what they wanted. So when they open them they think this is the PERFECT gift!

3. I wish to open a gift and it be the PERFECT gift! And to look back on this Christmas as THE BEST ONE EVER!!!

4. Ok 1 more. I wish all to have that PERFECT Christmas also! :)

HaPPY # 2!!!!!

Lane and I celebrated our "2nd" Anniversary this weekend!!!! We had a great time in Salt Lake. But it seems so strange ONLY saying "2nd" when it feels like I have LOVED him forever! Does that make sense? Or just sound corny? I really only remember, and think I've been married to him. Like I said before, Not sure I'm making sense to anyone but me. I guess, and feel it is one of those special blessings from Heavenly Father! ( fog the past) I can't wait tell I post 20 and 30 year Anniversary!!!

"12 FOOT " TREE is TRIMMED !!!!! (and I still love my husband) :)

Ok! Wow, I'm not sure what it is with husbands and Christmas trees, but I've kinda done a study at work and with friends and I really think that we women just give husbands two jobs when it comes to " Decking the Halls ". ( put tree up and outside lights ) I'm pretty sure that is where the SCROOGE and Christmas got put into the SAME holiday lingo!!! Savannah ALWAYS puts the star on the tree. But now that we have a 12 foot tree she gets a little assistants!!!!

We LOVE our Tree even though we have to move furniture to make space for it!!!! Yeah for Christmas Decorations!!!!! This is totally my Mom's doing. She always made Christmas so special and FUN!!! I am my Mothers daughter and PROUD of it!!!!!!!

Kind of a funny thing. We had Lane on the ladder and when he started to play Scrooge, Savannah and I started throwing ornaments up high, where we couldn't reach. AND THEY STUCK!!!! WHERE WE WANTED THEM TO!!!!!

We have a tradition, READ CHRISTMAS books every night! Ban organizing books!!! Her mothers Daughter! ( little scary) but so cute Santa hat and All!!!

Lane is so totally saying," Why do I have to do this !!!!" He is wishing the train would DE-RAIL!!!! I LOVE to DECORATE and make things Cute and Cozy!!! That is what the Holidays are all about!!!! Make MEMORIES for you children!!!!!!!!! (and force your husband to get in the Christmas spirit)
