We still have SNOW!!!! Lots of snow!!!

I am really trying to be positive about all the snow we still have. I tell myself "Savannah has so much fun in all the snow!"
That worked tell about March! When I go to Utah and it is "Spring" it is a little tough to drive 3 hours back to winter. When I was there last it was so nice I bought a new pair of flip flops and wore them home! I got out of the car when we got home and had "COLD WET FEET"!

We "STILL" do not eat fish! No matter what the size!

Lanes winter continues to be a little slow with work, but the fishing is getting better and better! And the fish are getting BIGGER and bigger!
What do you do with a fish this big when we don't EAT fish and I certainly don't really have a place in my house to hang this "LUNKER" if he were to mount it? Hmmmmm.... give the fish to buddies, (who eat fish)and look at the pictures often!

Lane told Savannah and I that we needed to be careful going IN and OUT of the house, who would think that coming and going from your own home could be dangerous!
SCARY!!! When these snow hangy things ( I'm really not sure if they have a name for these here.) fall it sounds like an EARTH QUAKE!!!
This same kind of snow hangy thing took out our side deck last year! Maybe I'll call them "The Deck Wreckers!"

I am always AMAZED that all this snow DOES melt before we start all over with it again!

Lane and his friend both love to fish. They get up at 4:00AM ( CRAZY ) and make the trip to Jackson Lake to stand in the COLD and catch fish that we don't eat. He says this is fun? I am still trying to understand this. This I think, will be one of those things we will agree to disagree on. I am just glad has friends he can go with that like fish!

" FACEBOOK " Yes? or No?

This year will, "YES" be my "20" Years high school reunion! Wow I am OLD! I decided I would go, but when I started thinking about it I got a little, of that anxiety feeling. I really have not stayed in touch with more than 1 or 2 high school friends. I was kinda ashamed of myself. My boss talked me into going on Facebook and reconnecting. I though "what the heck" why not! I than thought no one my age does facebook, but we'll give it a try. WOW!!!! SO many friends, new and old! I also have been able to reconnect with cousins I haven't talked to in years!!! Even childhood neighbors, that I had no clue where they would be now. I am even talking to some of my fellow classmates that I didn't know as well. It is so great! I would suggest you all should start "RECONNECTING"! ( beware you get addicted and your family gets tired of you on the computer)

For our 40th Birthday my mom, in only the way she can, shares her gift of cross-stitch! I chose this stitchery of Christ. Not knowing all the sentimental value that would come with it! Yes I received in 2 year early but for many good reasons. My mom finished it while in Singapore with my Dad, they had LOTS of extra time, there my mom depended on her cross-stitch while she was there to give her something to do and have comfort from being gone. She finished it 3 months before she would come home. The 3 months she could not get release from stress by working on this cross-stitch were tough ones and she conveyed this in a letter to me. ( a little/a lot to take in) I KNOW that this WORK OF ART will have more meaning to me than anything in my home. More than blood, sweat and tears. It is my mothers UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOR ME!!!

Laughing!!??!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

So for the past couple of days I have had several things that have made me LAUGH out LOUD!!! Blogs(in particular my friend Mel"s) my Husband ( I always laugh and he says why are you laughing at ME and than it makes me laugh even harder) , comments from my sister-in-law, my friends e-mails, things Savannah says, and comments on facebook. I LOVE to laugh and I think we all need a GOOD one EVERY DAY!
